Helium balloon can be launched easily and can stay at any requested altitude, from ground level to about 500ft or more whereas commercial aircraft are often limited by how low they can fly (traditionally 500ft to 1,000ft).

Not only does flying closer to the ground cut down on any haze, but it also lets you capture your subject at unique angles. Aerial pictures taken from a balloon are also sharper.

Aerial photography using helium balloon often provide better quality than using a Remote Controled helicopter : there are no vibrations with helium balloons, it's safe, and absolutely quiet.
- The camera is controlled from the ground: we can tilt (look up and down), pan (rotate left and right), zoom and trigger the camera. The actual image, as seen by the camera, is displayed on a bright screen on the ground. We have full control over the image. Just tell us what you need and let us show you incredible aerial pictures.

It is possible to take pictures from several viewpoint and heights whithin the same flight. We can walk around a villa while our camera is in the air...
In fact, helium-filled balloon based aerial photography is probably the safest form of aerial photography and aerial videography available. This lighter-than-air gas is non-flammable, non-explosive and therfore totaly safe. Aerial photography balloons have the ability to take aerial pictures and video from unique angles.
Furthermore, helium filled balloons can stay at the same place allowing the camera to take several photos that can later be "stich" together using a computer software. The aerial photography below is actualy 4 photos "stitch" together and is 10527 x 2385 pixels.
In the old days, if you wanted an aerial photo of your house, land, construction site, commercial building, resort, hotel or anything else, you had to hire a pilot and plane at the cost of $500 to $1,000 or more. That’s a thing of the past. With SkyCAM Phuket, you will get around 100 pictures for just over 275€ or 14,000 Baht, a mere tenth of the normal cost !
